INDIANAPOLIS (February 12, 2015) – Love Indy works to create a city that welcomes, engages, and inspires. A lovable Indy strives to build upon its heritage and support a diversity of people, authentic places, and experiences that foster civic pride and economic impact. A lovable Indy builds upon a tradition of innovation to offer unparalleled arts, cultural, sporting, and entertainment amenities accessible to all.

In order to create a signature look, Love Indy is hosting a t-shirt design contest. This contest is intended to reel in artists from around the city and beyond. The design may also be used in other applications. All designs must include the words “Love Indy” and must be appropriate for all ages.

The source files for the designs should be submitted along with a brief biography of the artist and description of the design/inspiration to loveindy@plan2020.com by March 31, 2015.

The panel of judges includes: Polina Osherov (Pattern), Karissa Hulse (IndyHub), Chris Gahl (Visit Indy), Courtney Chatmon (DJ Limelight), Molly Deuberry Craft (Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee), Brian Kelly and Joe Schnieders (Hayes and Taylor), and Mali Jeffers and Camryn Walton (Love Indy). The team is looking for designs that are unique, bold, wearable by many and representative of the love Indianapolis residents have for their city.

The winner will be announced April 24 at a lunch event at The Hall and will receive a $500.00 cash prize. Rights to the winning design will belong to Love Indy after the winner is announced. Love Indy t-Shirts will be available summer of 2015.
