INDIANAPOLIS (September 17, 2014) —The Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee (GIPC) today announced Molly Deuberry as its new Executive Director. Deuberry most recently served as Director of Marketing and Communications at the Indy Chamber.

“Molly’s experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors uniquely positions her for this role,” said Murray Clark, Chairman of the GIPC Board of Directors. “As we look ahead to GIPC’s 50th anniversary in 2015, we are excited by the fresh perspective she brings to the organization. We are so appreciative for the leadership of Interim Director John Ryan, and the continuing, exemplary leadership of Deputy Director Brooke Thomas during the last few months.”

Deuberry comes to GIPC with a wealth of experience in civic engagement, public service and economic development. She joins GIPC during an exciting time as major initiatives including Plan 2020, the City’s Bicentennial, and the criminal justice complex are underway. Deuberry will assume her role on October 6, 2014.

Founded in 1965, GIPC is a private, non-profit and non-partisan organization focused on strengthening Indianapolis through strategic community initiatives.
